Scammers are increasingly using AI voice cloning, spoofed phone numbers, and fake websites to target members. Please remain vigilant and take extra care when sharing personal or financial information.

Never send cryptocurrency, gift cards, wire transfers, or peer-to-peer payments to anyone claiming to represent a business, financial institution, or government agency.

AI voice-cloning scams are on the rise. If you receive a call about an emergency involving a family member or friend, contact that person directly using a trusted phone number.

Caller ID can be spoofed. Do not provide personal information unless you initiated the call or have independently verified the caller’s identity.

No legitimate company will ask for remote access to your computer or mobile device.

Be cautious of prize and sweepstakes scams. You cannot win a contest you did not enter.

For routine ID verification, ASCU will only ask you for the last four of your Social Security number and your date of birth.

For debit card verification, we will only ask you for the last four of the card number.
