Financial Education Program Highlights from Innovations in Education Conference

American Southwest Credit Union proudly participated as an exhibitor and presenter at the Innovations in Education Conference, hosted by the Cochise County Superintendent’s Office. Our engaging session, titled “Money Moves: How Money Affects Your Relationships and Ability for Long-Term Success,” focused on the vital role of financial education in fostering healthier relationships and sustainable success for students. As part of our commitment to enhancing financial literacy, we distributed complimentary “Money Moves” binders filled with comprehensive financial education resources tailored for teachers. These binders cater to K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12 grade levels, ensuring educators have the tools they need to teach critical financial skills.

We thoroughly enjoyed connecting with the community and sharing valuable resources with attending teachers, underscoring the importance of financial education for future generations. For more information about our financial education program or to request materials, please reach out to Kristin Gray at 520-452-3069 or via email at kgray@ascu.org. Join Kristin and Samara as they actively promote financial literacy at the Innovations in Education Conference, empowering teachers and enriching student experiences with essential financial education.
