From Player to Supporter: Giving Back in Hayden-Winkelman

Giving back to a place that shaped you has a special meaning. Recently, our Kearny branch team had the chance to do just that by presenting a $2,000 donation to the Hayden-Winkelman Little League right on the field where countless memories are created.

For team member Melinda Marinez, this was especially meaningful, having grown up playing in the same league, she saw this as an opportunity to support the next generation of kids making their own memories on that field. But it wasn’t only about donating money. It was about showing presence. From volunteering at the concession stand to helping with game-day activities, our team was proud to be part of the event. These efforts contributed to a successful night for the league, proving that community impact is more than just a financial contribution.

In small towns like Hayden and Winkelman, programs like Little League are vital—they unite families, teach important life skills, and foster pride that endures beyond the season. We’re honored to support the players, families, and volunteers who make it all possible, and we look forward to continuing our investment in these communities.
